Re: *UPDATE* T-Mobile HD2 Launch Date
This may be true for some information, but it's certainly NOT true for release dates. CS reps are the low man on the totem pole (no disrespect intended), I guarantee they won't know about release dates until AFTER enthusiasts like us on this site do. Release dates will typically get leaked to the internet through a higher up much sooner than it will be announced internally across the entire company (that is when the rep will find out).

Re: *UPDATE* T-Mobile HD2 Launch Date
When speaking to the reps what is being angled for is if that person or the others higher in rank have gone to school to learn any new devices. True we're not going to always get the release date but nothing is impossible (xda).

Re: *UPDATE* T-Mobile HD2 Launch Date
I personally work for t-mobile and have tried contacting people throughout the company (higher up than custcare and tech support) to determine the true release date and cannot get a straight answer. The only people who actually know are HTC (not HTC reps) and few individuals within T-Mobile. Those who do could get in a large amount of trouble for leaking the information since it is proprietary. I myself, could get in trouble with my district manager for posting the T-Mobile release date slide that I did if my actual identity was known. Getting the information for releases isn't that simple. There are phones that release date has come and gone but still haven't released, the date is never official til it actually happens.

Re: *UPDATE* T-Mobile HD2 Launch Date
I'm just wondering when they will send the "official" annoucnement e-mails. I signed up to be notified. But have not received any notification. If it's less than 30 days away, they need to send something. No more need for mystery. Time to get the customers lined up to buy .
I'm going to wait about 30 days after the device is released anyway. Just to be "sure" the T-Mobile version is all good. |

Wirelessly posted (Sprint TP2: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)
hopefully the lawsuit by crapple doesn't screw up the release. |
