Strange thing happened...

While the phone is ringing i can hear the caller... and after some tests i noticed that the caller doesn't know that i can hear him while my HD2 rings... he is hearing the carrier beep till i answer the phone....

Strange!

Sounds like you got a unit with an added feture that a "Lineman's" handset has, but that I thought that only worked on landlines.

My ex had this nifty "feature." While people were listening to the voice mail person saying which # to hit to leave a voice mail, she could hear them. It was very odd.

I liked it though

wow, thats awesome feature - anyway to get in on TP2? And you not the only one this happens to apparently so it makes me think its a glitch on the line rather than a "feature" on the phone.

And here is someone from our own forum with the same "feature"

it's somewhat a great feature to have...

imagine it's a good business partner of yours so you think, he's calling and thinking it's still the carrier beep, then he says, i hate calling this f-ker he but for the money i gotta hang on to this connection.

then boom... ditch him... lol
