750v to S621 (Rogers version of the Excalibur/Dash)

Trying out this device. My Treo 750v has call quality problems, 3G is not available here yet.

As for the S621, I like the weight and slimness of it. The screen is nice too. The keyboard in my opiniion is not as good as the 750. I havent really tried the Joggr strip, I seem to recall its problematic.

One thing I notice with this phone is that it takes a lot of keystrokes to do simple stuff, Then again I was using SPB Mobile Shell on my Treo.

Whats with the concept of flimsy doors on the Trep or flaps for the Sync cable on the 621? These things are bound to fall off.

Well, just set it up half an hour ago, so will test for a few days. I will see if I can install Mobile Shell.

So, after a weekend with the phone, gettting used to it. There are some adjustments after coming from a Treo 750v. One thing that is strange is that in the email client, there is no way to select several emails for deletion, I have to delete them one by one. It was easy in the Treo WM iteration of the email client to select several or all emails for an action like deletion. Am I missing something here?

Also, its strange that I cannot turn the screen off, it has to turn off by itself.

Other than that, I like the heft of the phone, the screen resolution, call quality seems good.

Carloine54...you've made five posts tonight all asking for blind assistance with your phone. You need to be more clear regarding what you are looking for.

late,
Coz
