After a week mine still does this.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of battery performance? My battery doesn't last nearly as long as it did with 2.2 Any ideas?

You've got fastboot on. To fix the HTC Sense home screen "loading", go into settings, power and uncheck fastboot. You'll need to turn the device on and off for it to take effect. It completely solves the problem.

In regard to your HTC logo issue, I don't see it, mind sharing any specific apps that u are using that's causing this? I can test to see if it does thesame to mine..

There seems to be a lot of people having this problem. The adroid forum has about 10 people confirming this as well as their conversations with Sprint. I have copied the link for you.

Since I removed Task Killer there seems to be an improvement.

I've also noticed a big jump into roaming areas: Places that I normally go, and the signal is usually fine, now says I'm roaming, which drains the battery even more .

Anyone else have this problem?

I apologize if this is an ignorant question. I have that new 2.3gingerbread installed.

Anyone having problems with their texting? My wife's Shift will enter random text for her. Some funny stuff... It reads like something they typed in the test lab back in china. LOL. Grammar is way off but the text makes sense. Also random letter and number sequences like h89yajl79 or whatever.

YES!!!! and it won't let me delete it. Every time I hit the del key it repeats the "highlighted" text starts adding new text from the xt9 choices at the bottom (even though I've already turned xt9 off). Sometime the only way I can get it to stop is to exit the SMS and start completely over. It sucks!

My beef with it is my data speed has slowed down big time. bluetooth seems better and battery is fine but the data speed sucks.
