[HOW TO] Send a meeting request via EAS/google - Evo Shift 4G
If you have an Exchange ActiveSync account set up on your device, you can use Calendar to create a meeting appointment and send a meeting request email to the people you want to invite to your meeting.
1.Tap All apps.
2.Tap Calendar.
3.Select a date for the meeting.
4.Tap Add event.
5.Tap the Calendar field, then select the appropriate calendar.
6.Enter an event name.
7.Edit the meeting time. Flick the Hour field Up, then tap OK.
8.Tap the Where field and enter an event location.
9.Tap the Keyboard icon to hide the keyboard.
10.To send a meeting request, press the Menu key, then tap Meeting Invitation.
11.Tap the People icon to search People, then tap the names of the contacts you want to invite.
12.Tap the Keyboard icon to hide the keyboard, then tap OK.
13.Flick the screen Up, then tap Send.
14.Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.
15.Done!

For a gmail account:
If you want to invite guests to your event, you need to create and add the event in your Google Calendar. An invitation email will be sent to your guests using your Google Account.
1.Tap All apps.
2.Tap Calendar.
3.Select a date and create an event
4.Enter the event name
5.Touch and slide the screen Up to edit the event information
6.Next, touch and slide the screen Up and tap the Guests field to begin inviting guests.
7.Enter the name or email address of guest to invite.
8.When finished editing, tap Save.
9.Press the Home key to exit and return to the Home screen.
10.Done!
