[HOW TO] Listen to the FM radio through the HTC Evo Shift 4G

FM Radio lets you listen to FM radio stations on your phone.

Be sure to have the FM radio app on your phone

1.Tap All apps.
Note: Make sure that a headset is plugged into to your device before accessing the radio application. A headset icon will appear on the status bar once plugged in.

2.Tap FM Radio.

3.To view all preset stations, tap the All presets icon. Press the Back key to return.

4.Tap the Previous icon to search for the previous FM station. Tap the Next icon to search for the next FM station.

5.Use the volume buttons on the side of the phone to adjust the volume. Then, press the volume up button to raise the volume.

6.Press the Menu key to access the FM Radio options. Here, press the Menu key again to return.

7.To manually tune the frequency, touch and drag the FM band to the right or left. Tap the arrows on the side of the FM band to tune the radio frequency.

8.To turn the FM radio off, tap the power icon located in the upper right corner.

9.Done!

Hope this helps someone

Are there any other apps to run the radio because the FM Radio app doesn't always show the RDS information properly.

Re: [HOW TO] Listen to the FM radio through the HTC Evo Shift 4G

Try Tune In... It's in the Android Market and it's FREE!!!
It uses the web to get you your local stations as well as stations from all over the place like the world famous KROQ in Los Angeles and many many more.
I'm from LA so I was excited to find this app.
It also brings in some HD ratio feeds including KROQ2 in HD!!!
LOL.
