Wireless tether not working

hey guys,
recently got an evo and using z4 temporary root to use the wireless tether but now everytime I try to use the wireless tether with temporary root option it says im not rooted even though its been working in the past. I've tried soft resetting and re-rooting many times. Any ideas? Thanks

which hboot does your device have? I would use unrevoked root personally. Unrevoked.com. Easy and works great. Good luck.
