Rom Help for Metropcs internet and data HTC evo

So i have finally flashed my Htc evo to metro but cannot get data working like internet or app market etc. But I have figured out the MMS and text. I have searched forums and is confused with what rom type is what.. what kernels are good for my Evo. Anyone knows
