Re: my evo 4g hung in supersonic after install stock rom
I would try another RUU as that one looks to be an older one, doesn't look like you updated to the OTA 2.2 rom when that came out as you have an older hboot. Since you are S-Off all you should have to do is go into recovery with a rom on the top level of your SD Card and it should install it, of course I'm not talking about an RUU I'm talking about the zip version. I have never installed a rom by RUU so I'm not familiar with that way, but just download another rom or one of the stock ones in zip format and flash it like usual.

Re: my evo 4g hung in supersonic after install stock rom
I am having the same problem My hboot is 2.10 though. I was on Cyn 7 rom then flash to the Fresh 4.2 all was fine then phone cut off and continued to reboot. Been trying to fix but nothing seems to work. I try to go into recovery but it just cuts off and goes into the rebooting loop. Its going on 2 days now an im beginning to think i bricked my phone ive read and read more but nothing is seeming to work. Ive added the pc36img file to sd card and it reads that and asks if i want to update but it wont do anything else.

Re: my evo 4g hung in supersonic after install stock rom
Like the earlier poster said, your RUU is old. It is likely older than your currently installed rom. You should install a newer 2.2 rom, then root it with unrevoked if you need to root it.
You can download a newer RUU from SHIPPED-ROMS (Shipped ROMs) Click the android guy, then SUPERSONIC (http://www.shipped-roms.com/index.ph...del=Supersonic) I recommend this one RUU_SuperSonic_S_Sprint_WWE_3.30.651.3_Radio_2.15. 00.09.01_NV_1.77_003_release_157088_signed.exe (Shipped ROMs)
