Screen looks cracked with phone on.

The glass part on my Evo screen is in nearly flawless shape. When you turn the phone on however, instead of showing what it should it just looks like cracks. Anyone want to guess what part needs to be replaced and on a scale of 1-10 how hard it is to do yourself? I have plenty of tools and am fairly good with them and small electronics / soldering, etc.

The LCD is cracked and not the digitizer...

Thanks, Is that a fairly easy part to replace or should I just send it off somewhere? They are surprisingly cheap to buy on ebay.

if you buy the digitizer and lcd assembly its very easy, 7 screws and three ribbons. I've tried replacing just the lcd and it was not worth the $15 you pay for the part. The lcd and digitizer I bought was about $60, the only thing you have to double check is if your phone has the wide or narrow ribbon.
