new evo 2.3.3 with 4.22.651.2

hello all. I'm new to the evo (used to have a tp2) and have been looking around here about rooting. i got my phone from the sprint store today and came home only to see that people are saying this can't be rooted yet...is this true? where should i start when it comes to learning about all this new evo stuff?

I miss mighty and silence roms.... i was flashing everyday.... miss my tp2.. we still rootless on 4.22 and 4.24... just wait for the root Gods to work there magic

Although you can't root the phone you can go ahead and read up on the process as it as before the update so you'll have an idea of what to expect, below is a link that you can go to and read.

Also get on youtube and watch some videos on how to root and install roms and anything else your interested in.
