help ASAP blocking phone calls/text

i am rooted with 2.3.3 i need to block a phone number. how can i go about doing that?

In settings, call settings, there may be a way to blacklist numbers.

I don't know about the programs on the market, but what I can suggest is if you know the number that you want to block is to add them as a contact and then you have the option to block the caller or give them a custom ringtone, that's what I would do instead of installing another program, but like I said it requires you to know the number you want to block.

You can log onto your account on the sprint website and there is a way to block a number in there as well.

if you really need it blocked, i wouldnt rely on an app, though most work well most of the time..... go to the sprint site as stated above and block the number through sprint

If you can't get on the Sprint Website for whatever reason, Just text Sprint.

Text the word block to 6666 and the 10 digit #

i.e... Block 1234567890

Text unblock and the # to unblock it

6666 get a message back saying I have tried sending to an invalid number or short code.

What I've done to block calls is creat them as a contact and then send them directly to my Youmail voice mail that gives them a message that this number has been disconnected.
