Sorry but need to vent.

Two of my friends has the evo shift and got there update last night (248MB download) And they have sense 2.1 wtf isn't the evo supposed to be the current flagship phone on sprint.. need less to say the update we got doesn't even seem like an update. the one for the shift hands down update all the way. If no one used a shift with the new update give it a world and I guarantee you'll be pissed off about the evo4g update

The older the phone (even if it is better) the more often it gets left off in the dust. They want you to upgrade when your contract expires.

I agree with Thundaar2000, if they kept the older devices as up to date and running as good as the newer devices then no one would ever upgrade thus putting more money into Sprint's pockets.

lol if that would only work, and how many people would it take to get that to happen, plus evennnnnnnn if they said okay you know how HTC/Sprint is about getting the updates out, I would be on social security by then and couldn't even remember how to use a phone lol.

My sister has the Shift and after her update I'll admit, I was kinda jealous.....Kinda. After I realized she was running stock and I was on OMJ's latest with the 3.0 lockscreen, I quickly got over it. In order for my EVO to be suited and booted, I had to root it. Now tho she has the update, she is kicking herself that she didn't get the EVO. And I'm quite sure that there are TONS of custom roms for the Shift and will probably be even more added now that the update has dropped. Should I be pissed that we didn't get it first? Yes. Should I care? no.

maybe Sprint/HTC felt that Sense 2.1 just ran better on the Shift's superior processor? Who cares, just flash whatever suits you lol..I pay no mind to OTA updates as there is always something better in the custom dev scene.
