who is not getting EVO3D?

I've had my same Evo since launch and I see no reason to change. sure I'd love a dual core CPU and 3d sounds neat.. but not a deal breaker by any means. as far as I can tell the only difference is sense 3.0 vs sense 2.1 (and who really cares? im still running a sense rom but im going to make the jump to an AOSP rom this weekend)

The way I see it the Evo 4G will do everything that the 3D will do (they both run the same version of android... gingerbread) So until the Evo 4G is left with no upgrade path I'll stick with it. and im sure by that point I'll be ready to upgrade to a quad core phone

(side note: any idea if the 4G will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich?)

highly doubt it.....from what I've read, the official GB is the last update....though there's suppose to be another minor update soon to fix some of the GB issues.


as for the 3D, u can bet it will get official Ice Cream

I'm probably upgrading simply because of processor and internal memory. I don't need the 3D part.

I love my Evo, but the limited space (even with Apps2SD) is a bummer at times for me.

I'm more curious if AOSP roms like deck's will be available. The speed and battery life have me sold compared to sense roms.

I'm upgrading...but in Nov or Dec time frame. That's when I get back from deployment. I've been thinking about the 3D but upon reading the reviews posted so far...I'm not sold. Yeah..the guts are better...but I don't think its significantly better than the EVO to the point that its a MUST upgrade.

I think I'll hold out for the "Kingdom" which I hope will be a holiday time frame offering.
