ps3 dns error

ive been using z4root to temp root my evo and using wireless tether from the market for the past 5 months, to play black ops online with my ps3. last night i got a dns error and now i cant get internet connection and i havent changed anyting not even an update to my phone. i called sony and the rep said that they cant guarantee that kind of wireless connection but ive used it for the past 5 or 6 months help?

Is there another wifi enabled device you can test the hotspot on besides the PS3 ?

this can be closed. it just started working after a day. but i still dont know what the issue was.

It could have been a problem w/ Sprints dns servers......for future reference, you can manually set the dns in your network config on the PS3.....change it to a free dns server, like google.

Are you on the stock sprint 2.3.3 ROM? (just curious - does z4root work with the 2.3.3 ROM?)
