No recovery when usign Rom Manager and CWM

I'm currently running CM7 latest nightly and the latest version of rom manager. whenever i try to go the revovery my evo only loads to the boot loader. if i manually try to select recovery it just flashes right back into the boot loader. i have amon ra if i manually install from boot loader but other than than i have lost just about all funtionality of rom manager and clockwork. any ideas whats going on or how to fix it???

If you want to use rom manager then flash clockwork.then power off, then go into recovery. Once it works that easy you can use rom manager normally.

tried that. i tried installing cw and the alt recovery. if i install either through rom manager and try to boot into recovery any way it dont work

Are you trying to install clockworks recovery through ROM manager? If so, changing from Amon Ra's to clockworks in ROM manager doesn't work. Download clockworks recovery and flash it through the bootloader.
Mine does the same, but i like Amon's recovery better.

ive had no problem before installing amon ra through rom manager

I've tried to install clockworks recovery through rom manager and it never does. I have to go into recovery manually and amons recovery is still installed.

Try an older version of clockworks recovery.

open rom manager, install CW. do it twice. now power off. NOW power on while holding down volume. it should work.

Not sure if u got it had ithappen to me searched for RA armon pcimage and put that on the root of SD card and when fast boot finds. It load it. If u can't find it I can post the file later

The only reason I was going to switch to clockworks was for updates on a different rom I was using. Sticking with decks and amon's. It's just weird that it says it flashed.
