Any improvement in Exchange support with 2.3?

Hello,

Has support for exchange improved in 2.3 on the EVO?

I can't put my finger on it but I just didn't like the exchange support on the EVO as much as iphone. I tried touchdown and it just seemed to be that it sat on top of the OS. I know I'm not describing exactly why I didn't like them but there just seemed to be something off to me.

I have not seen any differences or improvements, but then again I was not really looking for any. It works well enough for me. What features did you find lacking?

I couldn't say for sure - it just seemed to me that e-mail support is better on iphone but I can't exactly say why. On my old WM phone I could search my entire mailbox on the server- years worth for a key word does it have that feature?

I think the only way to do that is to do Menu -> More -> Settings -> Send & Receive -> Download Past Email -> All

But I am not sure how to actually search on the server side from the phone.

Re: Any improvement in Exchange support with 2.3?

The HTC email client does not support Exchange ActiveSync for Hotmail at all. The stock Android client supports it, but no HTML email. The only tool I know of that provides Exchange integration for Hotmail with Push AND HTML is Touchdown.
