How to use the intrinsic SIP support with Gingerbread?

Hello, I just flashed the rooted stock gingerbread ROM, and heard we could use its SIP to make internet calls. I turned on plane mode, connected my cell phone to wi-fi network, and added my sip account with sipsorcery. But still couldn't make any internet calling? Can some one explain how to use it?

Thanks!

Under settings --> Call --> Use Internet Calling, select For All Calls, or Ask for Each Call.
