Sometimes to get what we want we have to pay. We can not steal everything. When you steal, you get what you paid for. Don't be greedy. Putting all of that aside, I believe the newest version of Android Wifi Tether allows a normal connection. You can check the link below. android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting As for the Mac being a Pro or Con, I have heard and seen that rooting on a Mac with www.unrevoked.com is much easier on the Mac. Depending on how old your Mac is, it is, in my opinion, easier to connect to wifi locations than it is with various versions of windows. Another way to tell if you Mac is a Pro, just go to your menu and choose About this Mac...then click MORE INFO. This might give you a clear answer. (My clearly states that its a Pro in this menu.)

Re: hospot
after u root there is the wifi tether app. some roms have it built in where it is unlocked. i am using MikG sense 2.1+3.0 rom and it appears he has hacked it to work using the normal hotspot app. i had wireless tether on my previous stock rooted roms but never really used it. haven't actually tested it as far as to use the 3g network but when i started the app it never gave me the registration error and seemed to run fine till i closed it.

Or you can try the previously posted methods. I believe you do not have to be rooted for those methods. Your MSL code doesn't have anything to do with it. |
