Advantages of 2.3 GB over 2.2?

I thought they made a newer sense on it? (not the one on the 3d I know...but didnt they add some features?) and battery life should have improved due to gingerbread power management...but if your saying those 2 things haven't changed much then I guess everything is a minor update then :/

Gingerbread originally was made to include optimizations for none snapdragon phones..so its a major update to other phones..:/

Ok, its unfair for me to say battery life isnt better, I need more time to verify...but we didnt get the new Sense OR the new keyboard. I mean, my phone does seem more responsive and there are more options under some settings. Im just dissapointed that nothing more than these (in my opinion minor) things are our only "visible" changes.

I totally agree... I'm disappointed to not get some of the updated Sense features that are found on the Inspire and Thunderbolt. I use Swype, so I don't care as much about the keyboard, but I know some other EVO users that hate Swype and would appreciate the new one.

Speak for yourself dude. We got an updated sense, maybe not 3.0 but it was still an update which works better. Also batter like did improve as gingerbread manages apps in the background alot better. As for the visual thing, yes that might be true but why mess with something good? The big visual change is coming the next android os.

I am running a rooted custom gingerbread rom that has the lock screen from the sensation and the new evo3d and it is awesome. I love this new gingerbread update. I feel like I have a whole new phone. Cant wait till the evo 3d.

Not to sound rude brother, but, im running stock, and your not...gotta compare apples to apples here....for ud on stock, no, there werent any visual changes to sense as we thought we would get...performance upgrade, yes overall speed has increased greatly and I love it!!
