Question about Tiamat Kernel

I was looking to upgrade my Kernel. Was using Kernel Manager and showed 2 Tiamat kernals. There is the TIamat_Evo and then Tiamat_Evo_SBC. The description shows all the same stuff. Im using deck 1.2d and seen people using Tiamat and having great results.

Re: Question about Tiamat Kernel

SBC incorporates the Super Battery Charging patch, aka., trickle charging, which some people argue kills batteries and others use with no adverse effects. there are threads online you could research.

besides that, they are identical.

hope I helped!

In like of no question-mark, I will answer the question you never asked.

TiaMet is an excellent Kernel. It is the one I use all the time since I am running an AOSP Rom. I use the SBC. I am using a 3500 mAh battery and like that the SBC can push it to 4070 mV. My phone will run off the charger for up to an hour before it shows 99%. I am told it accelerates the wear on the battery but since I only paid $12 for it, I would not be sad if it died in six months. (about 4 months old now and running strong.)

Hope that helps
