http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...l-01115-a.html There it is a link to the forum! Just remember, its not about this PRL (60679), its about the last 01115 that came out with 60678. I am tested many theories as to why some get 01115, (locations that others got it, I am on corp discount, etv...). In case anyone cares, I didn't get 60679. I know that it should not affect my data speeds, but I have been getting 4-6kbs (yes kilobytes, not kB/Kilobits) consistently from Los Angeles to Phoenix, and from Los Angeles to Sacramento and everywhere in between and becoming a bit desperate!

I know. I updated and stayed at 0115. Rather than prls, radios and Rom updates would be better to get. Thanks Sprint

Re: New PRL 60679
Nothing happens that is noticeable to you or me. I'll give you that... But it's put out for a reason and some have made differences in my previous experience... So is it life changing? NO. Necessary? No. Is it good practice to update whenever you have the 10 seconds available in your life to make it happen? MEH... I guess.
Does any of this change the price of beer? Nope... Then what the hell do we care? But I do search for an update every few days just to have the most up to date PRL. p. |

Re: New PRL 60679
I'm not an addict except I get bored here at work and just start messing with my phone. LOL.
I have an older Samsung TV (42" Plasma Series 4) and I have yet to update the firmware... For all I know... The thing's got PIP and I've been missing out. LOL. p. |
