My noob Gingerbread Sense 3.0 review

Version b1.1.2 just dropped. Installed fine on my wife's Evo, looks great. Screen brightness still seems super bright and wifi drops every once-in-awhile. Other than that, looks great.

From the looks of things, we will never get sense 3.0 unless sprint has magicians. I'm sticking with my 2.2 aosp with Facebook for sense and sense dialer as my daily till then. Can't say I didn't try

no, we'll never officially get sense 3.0, and even the 3.0 ports may never be 100% working.....I'll be sticking to Sense 2.1, it's almost as nice!

How did u get Sense dialer on an AOSP rom? ... I assume u are using Sense contacts as well?

Yep, that all I need. For me, aosp is great for the weight (150 or so instead of 250mb) but the convinence of the dialer, contacts and kb. I don't need flicker or that other crap (though weather 3.0 is sweet). I'm back on virus infected from February.

Yeah, but how did you install them on an AOSP rom? Did you just use root explorer or something to delete the stock dialer, contacts and kb apks and then install HTC ones?

I'm trying to figure that out. I can't find any apks for only that that will install. I always run into errors. I happened to come across an aosp that has the HTC stuff cooked in.

I may try kingdom again since now I'm running chainfire3d. The thing really flys right now, it made everything super smooth on my current Rom. May help with at the effects on sense 3.0
