Re: Google Voice + Sprint integration
Guess most of you are the lucky ones. Everytime I try to go in and integrate my sprint number with google voice it tells me it can't be done and call sprint to find out why. I'm not overly worried really. I already have a GV number that works great.

Re: Google Voice + Sprint integration
I was able to integrate seamlessly, after telling it to pass SMS through to my phone I could use all of the same software. Also you need to turn OFF the notifications for GV or you get two for every text message.
But now I have the full functionality of Google Voice on my sprint number, including call forwarding, recording, screening, listen in to voicemail... etc. It's great.

Re: Google Voice + Sprint integration
So I gave it a try and did the full Sprint Google integration. All I can say is that it is most definitely not for me. I had not quite a stellar time for the brief period that I used it. Text messages weren't being sent thru, MMS messages couldn't be viewed... reasons enough to disable the service, which was probably the easiest thing to do (Just in case you all try it and figure its not for you. All you do is go into the settings and click the checkmark next to your phone number).
I see now why it's probably just easier to use GV number(if you already have one, or to just make one up, if one number isn't enough haha... of course, I understand the need for a business line or something similar), instead of the full Sprint/Google integration IMO. Share your experiences. Thanks |

Re: Google Voice + Sprint integration
There is two options in google voice that allow you to receive text and mms messages to your normal client. Instead of google voice. I like it a lot. Because when I am at work.. I have my phone 100% off and I can text as needed and check phonemail and everything from a website. better then using the remote sms clients and pdanet.
