Re: Seidio battery POS....
do you have ROM manager installed? that's how i switch between the two if need be, but i use ra recovery 99.9% of the time, but if you have ROM manager installed you can use either of those through that program, and if you don't have it you can download it from the market and install ROM manager and then flash that recovery, or you can switch to ra recovery. If I'm going to recover a nandroid then I use clockwork, if I'm going to flash a ROM i use ra recovery as I like it better, for me some things can be done in ra recovery and others in clockwork, probably need to read up on them to see what they are about and which you are going to use.

Re: Seidio battery POS....
lol totally forgot to tell you how to wipe your battery stats, however you get into recovery you'll go to wipe and then look for battery and then wipe that setting, been a little while since I have done it but that should be close to what you need to do. also you can wipe your cache and dalvik from there and you wipe those when you install things like a new kernel, boot animation and other things, good luck.

Re: Seidio battery POS....
clockwork just recently came out with an update where you can wipe dalvic cache. if you dont know what recovery your using odds are its Amon RA. if thats the case then:
turn off your phone. hold down the vol down button while powering on the device. this will get you into the boot loader. from there press vol down to highlight recovery and press power. your phone will then restart into recovery. from there press vol down till wipe is high lighted and press power. then do the same to highlight and press wipe on cache and again on dalvic cache. once your done press power with return highlight then again with reboot highlighted. hope that helps! |
