In texas went from 60677 to 0115,it is very strang seems 11*** were in north east.

I found this on Sprint Community Site. It doesn't make since if it is phone specific.

Non EV-DO phone 10XXX or 50XXX
EV-DO phones 20XXX or 60XXX
EV-DO Mobile Broadband Cards 606XX or 607XX
Effective 12/1/2008, PRL versions were synced up, to end in XXX50 (series).

it doesn't seem to be location-specific, I live in Puerto Rico and went from PRL 60677 to 01115 when I updated it this morning...

I've always agreed with the thinking that the PRL only affects roaming, but also noticed better 3G speeds, up to 850kbps, when for the past 4 or 5 months they've topped out at 400kbps; currently running the 01115 PRL with the radio from the Gingerbread leak.

Lol... I just tried to update prl. The updating window appeared for a second then back to the update screen. Won't even check. Now I have no 3g. Just WiFi.... time to call tech support!

So stock roms are getting the 'normal' prl updates... and rooted/flashed phones are getting a prl starting with 00???

I was told that locations that are having new towers put up are recieving these new PRL sequence. This would fit my area. Sprint has been working on the towers to provide 4G. Can anyone else in other areas confirm the same situation?

Also, when I woke up this morning my 3g speeds went through the roof. For the last 6 to 8 months my 3g speeds have been shit, this morning I was hitting 2.5meg down consistently. So sprint must be doing something for sure.

Two totally different companies. This should not affect your PRL. Sprint is simply accessing ClearWire's WiMax signal for lack of better terms.

I was in Phoenix today, I should have tried to update there and see what would happen...back in california, near Palm Springs at the moment. still stayed at 60678

I'm in Fort Worth, Tx and I have 01115 and I noticed that my 4G and my Hotspot keeps dropping in and out alot since this upgrade, is this a ploy by Sprint to make us get the newer models that are coming out because we love our EVO's?

Im rooted and just updated prl 60677 to 01115, hopefully ill get better service, cuz its been crappy the past couple months.

My stock EVO updated to 01115 - NW Wisconsin. Interesting though, now when I shut down and turn on, it powers up with 4G turned ON half the time. It's never done that before! I always kept it off since we don't have 4G here.

01115 here in Central Florida and non-rooted. Had to go back to stock for service repair on my bluetooth.
