Just had to hard reset stock evo (couldent hard reset myself. wouldn't do it no matter how I tried. Had to go to store repair ctr).
When reprovisioned and prl updated (while in store), have the new 01115. central new england. no 4g here.

Talked to tech support in the store and was told every phone has its own unique prl number. So no two phones will have the same number. haha...

3G speeds are still shit as they have been for almost 3 months.

Since the up grade to PRL 01115 on my rooted evo, i am not getting MMS texts now. It downloads for awhile but so far I got 4 new MMS and only gotten 1 and its still trying to download the remaining 3. Anyone having issues with MMS?

60678 in nyc

I read over on xda that if you go the 00 prl you either have a business account or business discount. And I read it gives you the ability to get 3G while roaming. I tested this out and I do get 3G while roaming when I didn't before. I actually got around 2 meg in places I only got 1X..
Roam control works great for those in bad service areas also..

Yeah same problem here, keep getting the generic failure message, this sucks, seeing that these prl's roll out slowly I will have to deal with this until when? And also I'm not rooted.

Hmmm... I get a company discount on my account and I have the 001115. Maybe this is the answer. Still kinda curious as to why it matters.

i wonder what that means...? 60678 vs 01115, the people with discounts are getting 01115, those that aren't get 60678....hmmm :scratch:

I have an employee account and got 60678. Not sure why those with corp discounts are receiving a different prl.

It must have something to do with the double rainbow...

Might have to do with hardware version? I know there are some issues with gingerbread based on hardware, maye this is sprint getting ready?

sorry I hadn't answered earlier, this is the LINK to the thread where I got the radio from; or a LINK straight to the radio.

it's packaged as a PC36IMG.zip, to be flashed from the bootloader, not from recovery.

as always, be extremely careful when flashing radios and follow all appropriate safety instructions :toothy7:

OMJ 5.0 and cyanogen 7 both come up as 01115 PRL. I am in Minnesota. Sprint normal customer.

My friend just did the update in NYC and received the 01115 prl, his Evo is rooted.

On another note, I noticed that everyone is getting a prl of either 01xxx or 60xxx.

My point is, I've been using a prl of the format 61xxx which I found preloaded on a Sprint phone months ago, and both 3G and 4G have been working just perfect. So I saved this prl to my computer and gave it to my friends to use.

Please notice that I have yet to see any phone getting a prl of this 61xxx range from OTA update (only 60xxx).

in Phoenix today, still no 01115 on my Evo 4G....I have tried recently, in Oxnard, Ca, Bakersfield, Ca (spying on you again Karl!!), Los Angeles, Ca, and everywhere in between, still no changes....

I don't think location is the issue.

01115 is Sprint code for "Your phone will cease to run correctly unless you do multiple battery pulls after the 2.3.3 update. Disclaimer: Some phones will run perfect after the update but for others it will bork. It is totally your fault because you accepted the update even though on June 6th, it's pushed to your phone whether you like it or not."

I got it forced to me yesterday. Out of nowhere it said prl updated. Now I have 115
