Thanks for sharing just got my EVO a few months ago. I hope that the next update has faster charging. TP2 use to charge quick on custom roms!

Charging quick is good and all, but it causes unneeded stress on the phone, the charger, and battery. In most cases, you'll notice the battery getting EXTREMELY hot. My EVO charges up to full in about two to three hours and a massive amount of heat is generated. That's why my car charger reads as "AC" and charges twice as fast as my wall charger, which charges at "USB" - half the amperage.

I've noticed that my wall chargers are not charging either of my evo's fully. I have extended batteries(3500) and they charge in about 45 mins. Then i put them in my old TP2 and it reads approx 72-75% charged. I let them charge till it reads 100% and i get several more hours of use (obviously). The behavior was the same with the stock batteries. I have 2 different stock wall chargers. I'm not rooted (z4root) on current stock sprint rom. Any ideas?
