Problems Sending Videos via Txt Msg

Has anybody had this problem...i cant ever send any videos through txt..it gives u the option..but it always says video is to large...how do I know what size/or time length the video has to be in order to send it off as a msg..i have tried very short videos 15sec and it still wont let me send t hem..very frustrating.

I have noticed the same thing, even w/ vids that are less than 2mb. I hope someone answers this question as well.

yeah..i never been able to send vidoes on the EVO...i mean thats a ancient feature that you would thk the EVO could handle with no problem

I don't see it as something the EVO can't handle as much as an antiquated feature designed for the Oldschool cameras like the ones that were on the flip phones. This is a 720p camera and it may be too much to send.
I hadn't tried sending any and don't have an actual answer for what the thresholds might be. However... I would be tempted to try the front facing camera as it is much lower quality. Also you can upload a video to quik and share it.
Interesting topic though.

Didn't matter with the setting on the lowest resolution which is qvga I think. Another one of androids weaknesses.

If you can manage to make a video less than 1mb, thats sprints mms limit, it will send.

do you know how many sec it takes to make a video less than 1MB...thats pretty low

Sending a pre recorded one is difficult but if you want to send one that you are recording at the time of the text do the following:
1. Open Messages
2. Click New Message and then choose who to send to
3. Press the Paper Clip and then Choose the icon all the way to the left
4. Choose Camcorder and record.
5. Press Done and send. Works every time.

Or open the Camera App and change the Resolution to CIF and keep it under two minutes.
