Weather Widget??

On the home screen my weather widget current location has been messed up for about 2 wks. It keep displaying a city I barely even go to...how do I fix my current locatoin..i tried refreshing it and rebooting it and it still doesnt have my right location on it.

Do you turn off your GPS to conserve battery?

Try turning on GPS... Refreshing your location and THEN, turning off GPS.

Hmmm...

Are you rooted? or are you on the stock rom?
If so... Running a specific ROM?
Is this weather widget the HTC one or a third party one?
Is your GPS otherwise working or are you having trouble with telenav/google/bing etc?

im on stock rom and my gps navigation is working just fine...i even turn that on to get a pinpoint location..it found me but its still not showing up on the weather widget...its very frustrating..bc the city is showing is like 3.5 hrs away from where the city im located at now

and its the HTC sense widget thats on the main home screen

Are you trying to lock in your home city weather? If so, turn off both GPS options under settings/location then click on the weather widget or weather app then delete that current weather you dont want, then go back to settings/location then select wireless network. Your current location should get locked...if you want your home city location do this when youre at home. Last turn off wireless network under settings/location.

No I want the current city..you know how Sense can detect what city you in and give you what the weather in your current location..thats what I was talking about.

funny, mine displayed the town nearest my location until sometime tonight. now it has the state (Connecticut) instead of the town. thought it might be because i uninstalled a couple of weather apps but my friend with an Incredible has the same issue.
