I'm in the same boat. I installed the apk and set it to my default home but only thing I notice different is it changed my background. I don't see any new widgets or anything else. It wanted ne to activate it then it told me my device was not supported.
I'm downloading the user manual now to my phone Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Re: SBP mobile shell for android
Yep somehow the beta quits working once the market runs, they must be some background software protection running etc. SPB must be lovin android, with windows mobile there apps where cracked left and right, which I always partly blamed on their high prices and funky support (and of course the cheapskates). This spb 3d is kind of cool but seems like beta at best, bugs all over the place, and $15 is quite steep for what you get. Luckily I was able to uninstall at minute 14, ha.

I guess I got the wrong version the first time. I got the right one and successfully installed it. It looked great. Once it was loaded up I got a message saying the market couldn't find my download. Next time I pushed the home button it shut it down for good.
