Possible to HOOK up a MICROPHONE to EVO 4G phone???

I want to be able to record for a movie. Wondering if I should just get this phone and have it record.

seriously! Would some one with more phone knowledge then I change the bit rate on the 720p setting so the audio is worth using! IT is a JOKE at 4k or whatever it is. PLEASE help!

unfortunately the EVO supports only audio in as far as stock goes. Haven't heard of anyone writing a program for audio in. Maybe a good project although the few "professional" short clips and films made using an EVO were fairly cruddy. Here is one (i know video as well but using stock audio as well)

I think somehow modding the video encoding to include better audio bitrate would solve most complaints, mine included.
