Re: WTF? Phone reset itself but ...didnt?
same old questions....
Are you rooted? If so, what Rom are you on? Any backup programs running in background? Do you walk to work or carry your lunch? Paper or plastic? Genital warts?

Re: WTF? Phone reset itself but ...didnt?
I decided not to molest this phone. It has worked amazingly stock. No need to tune it or anything (thank god)
Sooo...stock...plain jane... other than the suido extended battery which is purely awesome. |

Not too helpful... no reason why? No technical details?
All my other apps remained on the phone. The cardio trainer still remembered my runs from the previous week... |

Re: WTF? Phone reset itself but ...didnt?
The apps could have tried updating and failed during the process possibily causing the data loss. Even if you don't want to customize your phone with custom roms and everything like that, rooting does give you the option of using Titanium Backup so that you can schedule backups of your apps or do them manually so that you don't lose any info.

Re: WTF? Phone reset itself but ...didnt?
I have been using Koni's Elite Series since his first release (much more popular on xda than here it seems). The third version just came out last night and I couldn't be happier. Rom experiences vary by the individual though, so what is best for me isn't best for everyone. If you want to check his out it is available in the development section or you can click the image in my signature which is linked to the rom thread at xda.
