Re: Please Post Your Evo Camera Settings

Here are some pics I've taken over the past few months. IMO some look GREAT, some leave a little to be desired, but overall it gets the job done.

Re: Please Post Your Evo Camera Settings

not bad for a phone. I find that controlling my own flash makes a big difference. EVO just wants to fump way too much light on the subject.

Brightness +1
Contrast +1
Saturation 0
Sharpness 0
White balance AUTO
ISO AUTO
Resolution 8M
Widescreen (off)
Quality High
Metering Mode Average
I gave your setting a try, pretty good.

Can you please explain why you decided to go with: Widescreen (off) ?

Your pics look good. I'd love to be on that beach! Regarding your question, with the WS off, your image size is 3264x2448. With it on, your image is reduced to 3264x1952 (so you're losing 496 pixels of height). The way I see it, I'd rather have that additional height available and if I want to make it a widescreen image, I can crop out 496 pixels of height (like I did for the picture of the bar). Other than that, it doesn't affect the picture quality either way. Thanks for the feedback.
