you cant watch TV on the screen from the factory. The DOT wouldnt allow it for good reason. You have to go to a shop to get the car computer reprogrammed so you can view non radio/nav on that screen

My navy plays DVDs on screen, so I would like to send the video out from my phone to the navy/dvd on the car but the car does not have hdmi only usb and my evo dosent send video out from the usb or does it???

if you are talking about any car, the navigation is DVD based. Without reprogramming there isnt a way to get external video content on that screen. Only the back seat dvd players accept video input.
As far as connecting the EVO to your car, you can do that via bluetooth, but only for calls and playing music. My TL does that. |

The best part about DVD based navigation is that when you want an update, you have to bring in the car so they can open your dash to replace the disc. And thats after about $300 for a DVD!

mine dosent use a dvd nav mine download direct from sat it has an internal hard drive with 60 gigs the dvd part is just to play dvd movies, one more question can this phone send video out thru the usb??
