downgrade from 2.2 to 2.1 on my EVO

I need to downgrade to 2.1 if its doable from 2.2 ., i installed some RUU for 2.2 to downgrade the Radio., but it didnt work for me ., i would need to see if it works for what iam doing when i have 2.1 .
seen some thread on XDA , but pretty dumb no links to files ..etc ., would not want to look and download wrong file files steps and brick the phone ., so is there a link tutorial any one aware of with links names .. to all files needed . to bring my EVO to 2.1 ., or hey maybe 1.5

Why dont you just flash a 2.1 rom?

what would be a 2.1 ROM ., what file would that be to flash ., the only ones i tried to flash are like the supersonic ones ., RUU 3.70 .., 3.30 .. 3.29 .., these are the only ROM i know or flashed ., if i flashed with supersonic ruu like 147 .. or lower the phone crashed and wont boot . then i have to reflash it with ruu 3.29 ...
would you provide more info if you could .?

Look here at the 2nd or 3rd post. I assume your rooted. roms are .zip files. You load these while in recovery mode. If you dont know what recovery is look at the stickys to learn more.

If you have one of the newer evos you will have a hard time getting it to work on 2.1 roms. The older kernels are not compatible with the newer evos.

oh i c ., so i cant do it., is there a way i can install an older radio .., i was able to install RUU up to 3.29 ...., with an older radio., but would like to install an older RUU like 132.651....etc which has an older radio., can it be done.?
