Exclamation 4G on... asking to tap to choose an antenna?!?!

Was very happy and satisfied until a week ago... every time I turn on the 4G, it will show the 4G icon with an ! next to it and when I drop down the taskbar I have to tap to find an antenna... it takes much longer to do it... and many times after a while, the icon shows up again and I have to click again to find an antenna. ANyone having this issue or know what to do?

I tried changing roms, reflashing the radios, but no luck...

thank you

Re: 4G on... asking to tap to choose an antenna?!?!

I have had this happen a few times and its usually when the 4G signal is too weak to connect to. With flashing roms and radios you may have wiped out your RSA keys so make sure those are there still. Is this happening indoors or out?

Thanks for the response. Already checked the keys with the Market app (Wimax Keys Checker) and they are there.

Now, it happens in and out. Once I tap and I get it to work, the signal is FULL

I am not sure if this is your issue or not, but if I turn on 4g in a non 4g area, I will get the same thing.

Re: 4G on... asking to tap to choose an antenna?!?!

I see that sometimes. I was assuming it was on some sort of timed cycle to check so the 4G did not drain the battery constantly searching. Not basing that on anything I have read. Just thought it made sense. If I forget about it and check later in the day, it will be connected again, so I believe it does try to reconnect.

Re: 4G on... asking to tap to choose an antenna?!?!

like the others have pretty much said it's just that you lost your 4G signal so it puts the icon in your taskbar letting you know that you lost your signal and to tap it to scan again for a 4G signal so your not sitting there draining your battery.
