[Q] EVO 4G / Overdrive hotspot / tethering

So I think I remember reading a while back when the EVO came out that people were able to get on the PAM plan and were being given/sent out overdrive (pucks)?

Anyone ever get this? Is it still attainable? How well does the 3G/4G puck work comparatively to the EVO in Wifi Tethering mode (better I hope)?

Reason I ask in the EVO section is that it was an item that was offered to people with EVO and PAM on their plans..

I am considering this route to tether my Tablet, as lately the areas I frequent aren't getting a very good signal on my EVO enough to use the internet.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.
