Flash Dance or just this way?

Okay so just to make sure.Before i flashed to my custom rom i did my nand backup and wipe data made a backup of my image ect.... Now i want to try the cyanogen out. So do i restore my image from the backup i first made of my stock then wipe caches ect, or do i make another nand backup of my custom rom wipe data ect...load the cyanagen?? So basically what im confused about is whether to load my stock rom first then load the cyanogen or backup my custom rom as i did my stock rom then load cyanogen??

You do not need to go back to stock in order to flash another rom. Just make sure that you wipe data, cache and dalvik cache before installing new rom. You only have to Nandroid your current setup if you plan on wanting to be able to restore it.

I usually use a Calkulins_FORMAT_ALL zip first, just look around and you will find it. It goes on root of card and flashed like a rom. Then just for good measure I wipe the data,cache,and dalvek cache. Then i flash the new rom. I dont know why i do that just from all my readings from the forums i noticed alot of people doing that : )
