Camera issue with unrevoked 3.32

I am a noob in terms of android. I came from a TP1 which I had very customized. I have had my Evo since it came out but did not root it right away because was not familiar with android nor did I have the time. I finally rooted it mostly for the wireless tethering about a week ago. I have a 2 year old and I am constantly taking pictures of her and went to try and take pictures recently and noticed that the screen was pink. My phone is essentially stock and it is indeed rooted but the camera is nonfunctional. The forward facing camera is fine. Any help would be great since I am missing out on some great shots!

Android 2.2
HBOOT0.97.0000
2.15.00.09.01
3.29.651.5

Re: Camera issue with unrevoked 3.32

UnRevoked did not hurt your camera.
Flash a stable rom like Sprint Lover's or Azreal 4.0. If your camera is still hosed, revert to stock unroot and hike to a Sprint store.

i think i have the same issue. when i load the camera app, my screen is pink. to fix, i have to tap or push on my camera lens. after that, it reverts back to the normal looking camera. not sure if it is an bug or camera hardware issue.

Re: Camera issue with unrevoked 3.32

Thanks all. Pushing on the lens does indeed work which makes me thing that it is a hardware thing. I will flash a new rom just to double check when I get the time. I have a feeling that I will be returning this one for my third evo (Im just glad I shell out for the total protection package).

This is not a bug issue...I had the same issue about a month ago. It seems the bracket on that holds the lens to the dotter board can pop out a bit and the lens comes lose. I took my Evo into a Repair Center and they bracket had jared lose. Not sure if it's a wide spread issue...but they were able to fix it within an hour. I have dropped my phone a few times with my Otterbox commuter series case. Since I had it repaired I have not had any issues.

My phone before the fix I was able to push on the camera lens and the pink hue went away...then it would come back...would repeat...

Hope that helps you guys!
