Yes. While I haven't tried it yet (but I will soon) lots of people in the thread are saying it works for them.

Re: Full HDMI mirroring on the Evo

I've used it, for a public beta it is pretty functional. It is no where near 100%, but I was able to play NFS shift on my 52" HDTV and watch slingbox. After tinkering with it a little it did start to act up. It switched to 480p output for some reason and then the graphics were messed up when ever I tried any games. I had to reboot my phone after disconnecting from the tv in order to get my sound working on my phone after using. It is very promising and hopefully will be good to go once the developer gets some input from the beta.

Re: Full HDMI mirroring on the Evo

Update: The kernel is not ready for prime time and is a real bummer for this app. Hopefully before it leaves beta they will use a better kernel. When I took my phone off the charger this morning I burned through 20% of battery just reading 3 emails. The gps searching icon kept coming on and a check of alogcat showed it kept turning on the active gps every few minutes. I flashed back to the SBC HTC#15 kernel and all is well again. I'm hopeful they'll fix this app and kernel before they go prime time with it but right now it is a gimmick instead of being useful.
