Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

I too am waiting for the S2 to come out. I thought about going over to verizon but with their new data plan prices i'll stay with sprint.

I'm still very happy w/my EVO. I rooted later than others so I've been a flashaholic. I'm waiting for the Nexus Prime (IF it comes to Sprint) or the EVO 2012. I'm a patient person.

Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

I love my Evo(s). Maybe its because I came from windows mobile, but i have never been happier with a phone.

Also programming my own firmwares, so my phone will always be exactly what I want it too be.

I hate the battery life, that's about it.

Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

I purchased an evo 3d off Craigslist and was planning on selling my original evo but after flashing synergy Rom and overclocking the og EVO I might just sell the 3d. The 3d flies, screen resolution and colors are way better but I'm not sure its worth the price also i don't really care for the extra widescreen and the signal seems to be worse, I'm not sure whats going to get me off the og evo.

yeah, i came from the touch pro... well, got a bb tour in the middle for free from sprint cause they knew the tp was terrible. i went from flashing new roms every other day on the tp just to attempt to find something stable, to using the evo for a year without even updating the rom because i was rooted and didn't want to bother. i just updated to the latest the other day and its so much faster. i have 3 batteries for it and a wall charger, so if i know i'm going to be out of town for a few days i just bring the batteries with me. its great. i've dropped it more than a few times and it hasn't broken yet, so thats cool haha. i do have my old sanyo 8200 cloned to the evo's esn for when i go mountain biking or snowboarding or whatever, just to have a phone on me.

thats the one thing i hate about smart phones, you're always worried about breaking them. my blackberry tour, i hated how slow and stupid it was, but its a beast. i wish i could clone my esn to that one instead. i'm thinking about getting the 3d, but i'm really just lazy. i don't want to reinstall all my apps, just for a 3d camera i'll never use. the phones are too similar. i do like the hard camera button, that baffles me about the evo. they throw an 8mp camera into it, and not even a button? thats my one real gripe about it. well, that and my power button is shattered. anyone replace it yet? i was thinking to buy one

Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

still digging my EVO...but will retire it and eventually be my daughter's first smartphone. Leaning towards the latest and greatest from Sammie...but have that itch for the iPhone5 if it comes to Sprint. The EVO is great...but smartphone/tablet hardware AND software is improving with such speed that its considered OLD now. Remember if you read some of the previews and reviews...the EVO was hailed as the smartphone geeks wet dream!! I'll miss it...but bleeding edge...here I come!
