Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

Ok, now I'm sure that everyone has seen the specs on the new EVO 3D that is supposed to be announced next week. Are you guys telling me that your not gonna get one? Because, I'm without a doubt going to get one. I'm just a little worried, none of the spec sheets I have seen on it say anything about wimax / 4G... Thats the only thing that would keep me from buying one. I love my evo just like the rest of you but I'm putting it and the 5 batteries I have for it on craigslist the day after I buy the EVO 3D (if it has 4g)

Anyone with me on this???

Yup I had two for my touch pro 2 my evo came with 1 and I bought 2 extended batteries on amazon so I have 5 but I only use like 3 and a half a day.

Isn't that solar charger expensive? Does it work with any light or just the sun?

It works with light or sun, sells for $60, but you get 25% off if you're premiere.

the sprint store by my house won't give you 25 percent off unless you buy 2 accessories or more so I buy on amazon... its cheaper.

I woulda said I was tired of it, but with full HDMI mirroring working now, I don't see any reason this hardware couldn't be put to good use even if I got a new phone.

Years from now it could serve as my n64 emulator (amongst others) for example.

Re: Any1 else tired of their HTC EVO?

I still love my Evo. This is the first phone I have had that I have not really had any complains. I haven't even called sprint in almost a year about technical problems. This phone rocks and I do not think I will get tired of it any time soon. Even if there was an EVO 2 (which I really hope DOES NOT happen), I would still stick with the Evo for now. Although I love new stuff, I do think we should have time to explore and enjoy the phone before a new one comes out. One year is not enough.

Yes, I am totally with you on this and everyone else here is too... whether they publicly agree or not.

Once dual core goodness is out, our phones will feel like bricks and we will all jump ship.

Why? Because we are all hardcore enough to join a forum about phones!

The casual user (like one at my office that never bothered to update to froyo) could care less.

WiMax is a stillborn technology and a disappointment. If it has it great.. I don't care that much. I'm sure it does though.

Its not a disappointment..its actually a very good technology that has been working well throughout the world..the biggest problem aside from roll out is that sprint decided to use only 10mhz of spectrum (retrospect to verizon going 20mhz and on a better 700mhz band)..Sprint is still keeping 20mhz more in the spectrum most likely for LTE use..If they would have went all in with 30mhz you'd probably see 20-30mb/sec dlds speeds (as long as their hubs support that much)
