HTC Sense UI Clock Widget

I am running a rooted phone and this was a problem I had with the sense UI on the Touch Pro 2.

Basically, when my phone unlocks, the clock is set back an hour (give or take a few minutes) and would then update to the current time. I believe it was called clock jittering/jumping or something to that effect.

I tried searching for something similar on the Evo forums but couldn't find anything specific to my issue. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I am running a rooted phone with the Clockworkmod and flashed with Mikfroyo 4.5

Thanks for your help everyone!

Re: HTC Sense UI Clock Widget

That is actually not a glitch but more of a feature. Some Roms do this while others do not. I know exactly what you are saying. When you turn the phone on it is exactly 1 hour and 2 minutes behind. It is supposed to be that way!

Re: HTC Sense UI Clock Widget

I believe it's part of the animations. Does something similar when you use an HTC Analog clock widget. I use Beautiful Widgets as my clock so I don't have this "feature."

Yes - you are correct, I believe it was to kick start the weather animations. (Which I must say still allowed for the weather animations to kick in when you manually refreshed the weather) I know there was a "fix" on the Touch Pro 2 forums to disable that feature and was wondering if there was one for the Android version of the Sense UI.

None the less - thanks for your reply and a thanks is headed your way.

Re: HTC Sense UI Clock Widget

At least you get to see the pretty flip clock.

I run LauncherPro with the Miui "Sense" weather clock, which isn't affected by this.
