HELP: Tried installing Inverted HTC Messaging App, now I have no Messaging app at all

I tried installing the Inverted (white text/black background) Htc Messaging Application - Mms.apk from XDA ([App] Inverted (white text/black background) Htc Messaging Application - Mms.apk - xda-developers), but now I have no Messaging app on my phone at all!

I flashed the HtcMms.zip using ClockworkMod, and everything appeared to install correctly. After restarting my phone, all it did was replace my Messaging icon on the home screen with a generic looking Android application icon. I checked my app drawer too, and I didn't see any Messaging app or a new icon. I thought I might've had a bad download, so I redownloaded the HtcMms.zip file and reinstalled again, but I still get the same thing. It's basically like I have no messaging application anymore.

After that didn't work, I tried flashing the HtcMmsRevertStock.zip file via ClockworkMod to revert back to the stock HTC MEssaging app, but it's still doing the exact same thing as before.

Not sure if it matters, but I'm running CM7 RC1. Any idea what might be going on?

Thanks!

EDIT: I was able to revert back to the stock Messaging app by extracting the apk from the CM7 zip file. Still unsure why I was unable to install the Inverted app.

Resolution: Found out the problem was that I was using CM7, and that the Inverted app is only for HTC messaging, on Sense roms.

Yeah you have to check where the apk file came from, whether it was a Sense or AOSP ROM.

If you don't mine using a program, Handcent allows you to fully customize the look of the messaging threads. Mine basically looks like an inverted default messaging app. Plus you get useful extra features.
