What is the best Kernel for speed/battery life?

What is the best Kernel out there for speed and battery life...theres so many and it seems theres lots of choices but im sure there is one that is so far provin to be the one most are using.... Help im going crazy..lol

i was asking the same question when i started flashing kernels. Your best option is to download a bunch of them and give them a try. Kernels all work differently depending on the phone/rom. I can offer you a suggestion. I am using netarchy-toastmod-4.2.1 cfs-bfq-havs-less-smartass-universal-signed. I get the best battery life compared to the others Ive tried. (Too many to remember which ones I tried).
