Contacts from Palm Pixi to EVO?

I know someone started a similar thread but he was asking about a different phone and I didn't want to hijack his thread.

I am buying a EVO this month and I wanted a easy way to copy my contacts from the pixi to the EVO. I hope someone can help.

Just have your Sprint store do the contact swap. If you're getting your device somewhere other than a Sprint location, try to bluetooth the contacts over from device to device. Be sure that you have created your gmail/google account on your EVO prior to sending your contacts over.

Not the easiest way, but since you have time before you get your Evo go to Gmail, create an account if you don't aready have one...manually enter your contacts there, once you buy the Evo and login with your current Gmail that has the contacts, it will load them to your phone automatically...or just have Sprint do the transfer...they have the device in store that can do it...

Re: Contacts from Palm Pixi to EVO?

I guess I will have to do the gmail/goggle thing because I was going to buy the phone off ebay. I didn't wanna start a new contract just yet...just in case.

I have a exchange mail account with alol (https://win.alol.net.br) that works great and I can get my contacts that way but I was trying to make a new account for my wife but I guess the site is messed up. There's no option to start a new account. Oh Well...
