Is it stable at 128Mhz? My stable minimum seems to be 256

Yes, but it seems over 1.15 it will get unstable sometimes so I leave the top end there.

Re: Finally got my phone battery life where I want it!

the bad thing is that it seems to differ between hardware versions and all that so what might work for one phone doesn't work for another. i was having issues with a kernel that let me overclock and underclock and it would make my phone unstable and i would end up having to flash again to fix it so i just gave up on setcpu because it ended up being more trouble than it was worth, I'm on Calks 1.7.7 with stock kernel and getting good battery life.

I would always hope that the HW wouldn't affect just the kernel performance/stability. I did go through quite a few kernels in sticking with this, mostly the HAVS or anything more aggressive toward battery life was not working out so well, especially if I booted with SetCPU running.

I have 2 EVO's with HW v003

Re: Finally got my phone battery life where I want it!

I'm running Sprint Lover's ROM with Netarchy toastmod 4.2.2 CFS SBC more HAVS aggressive kernel. According to JuicePlotter, I can normally get around 35 hours of moderate to heavy usage, though I never go that far.

I did forget to charge it one night and it lasted me until 6pm the next day when I had to swap one of my 1800mA batteries.

No it did not sit around all day,

I used facebook, the internet, bluetooth in my car, the camera, and watched a couple of videos not constantly but pretty consistently throughout that time.

So Say what you want.

Last night, I played Spectral Souls and texted most of the evening at work... It said Android system at 22%.

I was still have 52% battery after 11 hours.

Do you have a million programs in the background using data syncs?
