Re: General Chef Solicitation
I'm not sure what kind of replies that you will get for this from the chefs/devs interested. However, PPCGeeks doesn't make it a habit to allow for any ROMs to be sold on our site. We have never had an issue for donations, but selling a ROM is not really allowed.

Re: General Chef Solicitation
I know we have pocket PCs that have been specifically designed for inventory, tools, cash registers, and singular purpose vehicles. Heck, I've even used one myself where the only purpose was taking baseball stats, so I know it can't be illegal to lock it down for a teenager.
Is it a carrier issue with selling roms? a software rights issue? or a PPC Geeks policy issue? |

Re: General Chef Solicitation
It's more of a PPCGeeks thing as we are an open community that strives to share what we know. Again, asking for donations is fine and completely acceptable, but for the life of me I cannot think of any ROMs that were for sale on this site.

Re: General Chef Solicitation
Sprint family locator does half this stuff...
and +1 we dont sell anything, but phones in bargin trader here pretty much.... No devs or chefs here sell us their products.. everythings free... we all enjoy the things we learn and do, so we love to share it with as many people as we can... even XDAs Devs and Chefs, a more global platform if you will, dont sell their work usually... apps are what you sell, those go out to MILLIONS and MILLIONS of subscribers.. ROMs are for the exclusive people who actually take the time to go online and learn what to do... its kind of like "well you came all this way for knowledge and help, Here, let me give it to you"
