radio and wifi thether to stock rom but also rooted?

Can i just flash over to a tether enabling file and also radios without flashing over to a entire different rom? I like the stock one i have but i want the wifi stealth tethering for sprint??

You can root and keep the stock Rom if I'm not mistaken. You need superuser permission to use the apps and toy need nand access to flash the appropriate files.

Any hoot, if you like the stock Rom but have to reflash, you can flash Sprint lovers or omj's. They look and feel exactly like the stock Rom but way faster

just asking because i read this here how to flash a custom ROM if you are rooted with Unrevoked 3 - Android Forums and i rooted my phone with unrevoked 3.1 on my 3.70 evo4g.. so if searched if i can load custom roms if i used the unrevoked method and in the steps it shows how you come back for the wimax and radio flash after the custom rom flash. So you would install them all seperatly. And also i was wondering if these custom roms on ppcgeeks already include the wimax and radios in the custom rom?? Thanks for your help.

They all include Wimax unless otherwise noted. Gingerbread, Liquid, CM6, HD and Miui roms dont have wimax. The radio you have to flash separate, pretty much your last step after flashing a rom. Once you flash youre good for all future flashes.

In case you didnt know, dont unzip, copy all the zips to your root folder of the memory card (this includes the rom too)

OMJ_EVO_2.2_Froyo_v4.1_odexed.zip is this a good one to start out with? I already have it copied to root of memory card. Should i have to do all that wiping and stuff even though im on a stock rom??

After you root, you should wipe everything before flashing. should take like 10 mins all said and done

sorry doggy i dont quite understand ..... where should i go once in that bootloader menu for the wipe? Also if i have the custom rom on my root memory card is that gonna interfere with the bootloader menu, i read on the current thread here that some PC34242.zip file will automatically be read once in the bootloader menu. Im tired sorry.

Most of the roms let you reboot straight to recovery now. After you flash the pc***.zip, change the name of the file so bootloader doesn't reflash it. But like I said, you can go straight to recovery from the OS. Just hold the power button.

You guys are lucky, recovery used to be a bitch to get into, had to plug into the computer and run a recovery kernel through cmd.
